The saint in Kerala Mata Amritanandamayi must have been finding herself in a mid of an unwanted controversy if the state media didn’t choose to avoid the book that includes scandalous details about her. The book ‘Holy Hell - a Memoir of Faith, Devotion and Pure Madness’ has been published by an old devotee Gail Tredwell and it is shocking to see that the media is keeping a mum over the issue.
Tredwell is an Australian and spent 20 years in the Ashram of Mata. Her book is going almost unnoticed by the media but it has taken social media with a blow. It is yet not confirmed by any means that why the state media is ignoring such a big controversy and giving room to voices to be raised against them.
The Australian has made several scandalous claims in his book and only three TV channels in all had guts to feature the controversy, rest are just watching the show from distance. Social media is not only discussing the issue of the godwoman and the book but is also pouring out view regarding the silence of media in this particular matter. The scandalous book talks about sex and greed and also the individual role of people.
The writer of the book was an early associate to the "Amma" and therefore the claims made by her are horrifying, though there are no such evidences available to blindly believe the claims. She left the established long back in 1999 which weakens her claims or charges.
