Jaipur: Youths enter BSP office, open fire

Jaipur: Manoj Nyangali, younger brother of late BSP leader Virendra Singh Nyangali and two others were injured in a gun attack by some unidentified assailants on Sunday.

Manoj Nyangali who is serious and his uncle Naresh and a fellow party worker Manoj Meena both of whom were also injured in the attack have been referred to Hisar.
During the preliminary probe, police suspect old rivalry and gang war. However, the assailants have yet not been identified.
The attack triggered tension in the area. Angry BSP workers blocked national highway 65. They also pelted stones and set ablaze three Roadways buses. Mahipal Singh, president of Rajput Karni Sena has demanded for arrest of the accused within two days. Mahipal along with other supporters of Manoj have also reached Hisar.
Manoj Nyangali’s elder brother Virendra too had been killed in broad daylight three years ago. Virendra was also a BSP leader who had narrowly lost last assembly election against Kamla Kaswan, wife of BJP MP from Churu Ram Singh Kaswan.
After Virendra’s death, Manoj a lawyer by profession joined politics and successfully fought panchayat samiti election. At present he was in charge of the party for the assembly segment.
Satyapala Singh Solanki, deputy superintendent of police (Sardulpur) informed that five or six armed assailants barged into BSP’s office at around 7 pm and opened fire on Manoj Nyangali who was sitting with his uncle and a party worker Manoj Meena. He received two bullet injuries one went through an eye and got stuck in the neck while other one in stomach.
His uncle Naresh and party worker Manoj Meena also sustained bullet injuries in the assault.
