A divorce coach has spilled the beans about the problems that lead a couple to split.
According to Micky Wade, though an affair is thought to be the most common problem in a marriage, mostly it is just a symptom of underlying issues in the relationship, the Huffington Post
As per Wade, following are the marital problems that can lead to divorce:
1. When one partner feels like the parent of the other, as he/she is of the opinion that the other partner is immature, irresponsible, untrustworthy or selfish, the marriage falls apart.
2. Secondly, domestic abuse is the other common factor, which breaks a marriage. When these episodes of violence repeat, they erode the relationship to an extreme.
3. Lack of empathy, in the terms of understanding and supporting each other.
