New Delhi: As Manchester City gears up for the epic Manchester derby, the players in the squad seem to have got into each other’s hair yet again. Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta, on Tuesday, admitted that his controversial team-mate Mario Balotelli causes immense problems in the dressing room, making him want to kill Balotelli.
While laughing off, Zabaleta revealed that Balotelli has had fair share of controversy since his arrival in Manchester, but insists that, despite his problems, the striker is destined for great things.
The 27-year-old defender believes that Balotelli has the potential and talent to clinch most prestigious awards in the world of football.
Zabaleta stated that Balotelli is a very difficult person to understand because you never know what he is going to come up with next.
He said that sometimes the stuff that he comes up with makes you want to laugh at him and sometimes you just want to kill him, but in the end he is a great person.
Zabaleta lauded his Manchester City team-mate and revealed that he would be close to being one of the best strikers in the world.
The Argentine defender also praised his manager Roberto Mancini for helping City win the English Premier League title last year.
He also said that the players at the club and fans acknowledge Mancini’s work and what he has established at the club that hadn’t won practically anything in 44 years.
