Mumbai: We have seen him 'ruthlessly' blasting world's top-bowlers with perfect control and command on field, if cricket is a religion then he is the unquestioned 'god' of the game. Despite several ups and downs in his almost two-decade-long cricketing career, he is the best batsman across the globe. But this is only when he is on field. The Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar is a different man in home.
According to a Marathi book, Sachin Tendulkar is afraid of his wife Anjali when she is angry.
In an interview to the author of the book- 'Sanwad Legend shi' (Interaction with great cricketers), Sachin conceded that an angry wife is more dangerous than an angry bowler.
On 24 May 1995, at the age of 22, Tendulkar married Anjali, a pediatrician and daughter of Gujarati industrialist Anand Mehta and British social worker Annabel Mehta.
Anjali is six years older than him. They have two children, Sara (born 12 October 1997) and Arjun (born 24 September 1999).
