Pallekele/ Sri Lanka: Riding high on Shakib Al Hasan's blistering 84 runs knock, Bangladesh set up a target of 176 runs for Pakistan. 
After electing to bat first against Pakistan, Bangladesh first setback in the form of Mohammad Ashraful, who was dismissed by Sohail Tanvir at the score of 14 runs in the fourth over. 
He was soon followed by Tamim Iqbal. He was run out after adding 24 runs to the scorecard. 
After the ealy departure of Iqbal and Ashraful, Shakib Al Hasan took command of the situation and displayed some beautiful shots to take Bangladesh at a comfortable position in the game. 
Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib built up a crucial 68 run partnership to take Bangladesh post hundred before Rahim fall prey to Yasir Arafat at the score of 25 runs. 
He was soon followed by Mahmudullah in the next couple of overs. 
Depite fall of wickets at a regulat interval, Shkib held the fort from one side and ensured that team sets a descent total for Pakistan. 
Hasan became third victim of Yasir Arafat when he was caught out by Umar Akmal at the score of a terrffic innings of 84 runs.   
Bangladeh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in the group D clash.
Bangladesh side have made one change in the playing XI by bringing in Abul Hasan in place of Elias Sunny whereas, Pakistan decided to play with the same team.
