A 17-year-old Indian-American teenage boy has been arrested after more than a year in connection with killing his mother.

Cary Police in North Caroline, US, arrested Arnav Uppalapati after his mother was found strangulated on December 17, 2015 and her head covered with a plastic bag.

Wife Kills Husband, Packs Body In Suitcase

In one of the most gruelling cases of murder, a 40-year-old man named Ekam Singh Dhillon from Mohali was found dead, with his body stuffed inside a suitcase, kept in the trunk of a BMW car right outside his house.

The victim is reported to have rented the house in Phase III just a fortnight ago to live alongside his wife and two children; aged 11 and 5.

Dhillon was married to Seerat Kaur over 12 years ago, but was reported to have a strained marital relationship. Dhillon’s family accused Seerat of constantly nagging Dhillon to maintain a high-status. Dhillion was undergoing immense pressure at work as he was unable to bloom his business for the past couple of years.

An intense quarrel over the weekend led Seerat to shoot her husband with a .9mm licensed pistol. The fired shot hit Dhillon near the ear, piercing through his head; killing him on the spot.
