New Delhi: The Australian PM, Julia Gillard on the last day of her Indian trip tripped after her high heel shoe got entangled in the soft grass. The PM fell down on the ground as the support staff helped her back on her feet.
The PM thankfully did not suffer any major injury and continued on her way.
Later the PM joked about the incident saying that she cannot wear flat shoes as it would a major faux pas.
The PM is visiting India as part of her three day long tour.
In the past as well, Australian PM is known for her shoe trouble.
Earlier this year, The PM lost one her shoe, as she was escorted out of riot situation during the Australia Day protest.
The entire Aussie media was full of headlines with newpapers analyzing how grass and high heels do not mix.
Sydeny tabloid Daily Telegraph termed it as "PM's fall from grace."
Few months ago, The PM lost her shoe while climbing up the stairs. She later acknowledged that she lost her balance while she was watching another women negotiate her way on the stairs.
