Allahabad: Firecracker manufacturers have cashed in on the popularity of India Against Corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal this Diwali!
They have come up with a unique item called 'Kejriwal bomb'. It is exclusive to the Sangam city where union of crackers wholesalers has decided not to sell bombs this year.
"Following instructions of the district administration and the social cause of minimising sound pollution, our union has decided not to sell bombs and loud bombs this year and you won't find them in the retail market," TOI quoted wholesale dealer Mohammad Qadir as saying.
The Kejriwal bomb is a product of Sivakasi and being one that would emit just the permissible sound decibels is selling like hot cakes with the photo of the anti-corruption crusader appeals to everyone and the pack of 10 bombs doesn't burn a hole in the pockets either, adds Qadir.
