It's that time of the year again, when the world's most prestigious award is about to be presented and the entire planet is waiting with bated breath to witness that moment, when the beauty (read the Oscar trophy) will land into the supple hands of a pretty lady. But, there is a twist in the tale- this time round, a 9-year-old girl is fighting it out with women of great talent for the coveted trophy. So, the the oldest nominee in the category is Emmanuelle Riva, who's 85-years-old and the youngest nominee Quvenzhane Wallis, is 9-years-old.

Looks like it's going to be a close competition this year. And, here's the list of all the nominees of the Best Actress category.
