Islamabad: According to reports, a case officer probing a corruption case in connection with Pakistani Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf was found dead in Islamabad on Friday. The country’s apex court had earlier on Tuesday sought Ashraf’s arrest in the long-running case but anti-corruption National Accountability Bureau (NAB) informed that there was lack of evidence.
The officer – Kamran Faisal’s body was discovered by his colleagues where he lived with them. According to a senior NAB official, he was found dead in his rest room and it is suspected that he has committed suicide. The post mortem will provide details.
