New Delhi: The punishment for adultery, as per Sharia law of Pakistan, is stoning, and not even Hina Rabbani Khar and Bilawal Zardari Bhutto are immune from it, claims a news report by Bangladeshi tabloid, Weekly Blitz.
In its report, it has claimed that eminent Islamic scholars, leaders and clergies in Bangladesh have recommended punishment for Pakistani foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar and co-chairman of Pakistan People's Party [PPP] Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the charges of adultery that have been levied on them. The report quoted views of eminent Islamic scholar and leader of the Islami Oikya Jote [Islamic Unity Movement] Mufti Fazlul Huq Amini's statement to Bangladeshi daily newspaper the Amader Orthoneeti [Our Economy], as he spoke about the allegation of 'adultery' on Hina and Bilawal. Amini has reportedly told that the punishment of adultery as per Islamic code is 'stoning to death or whipping.'
