    New Delhi: Sending out a symbolic message, convenor of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday officially announced adoption of ‘broom’ as his party’s symbol. On expected lines, Kejriwal pledged to ‘cleanse’ the society with his fledgling outfit.
    "We are starting our journey from this holy ground and I am hopeful with this broom we will be able to cleanse society," said Kejriwal.
    After the launch, Kejriwal swept central Delhi's Valmiki complex that houses sweepers of the North Delhi Municipal Council.
    Thousands of supporters, wearing the white cap of AAP, were present at the launch.
