It’s a known fact that Salman Khan loves his sisters. And Alvira Agnihotri seems to have returned the favour in the form of 'colourful outfits'. News is that the ardent sister has designed costumes for Salman for his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

    It’s a known fact that Salman Khan loves his sisters. And Alvira Agnihotri seems to have returned the favour in the form of 'colourful outfits'. News is that the ardent sister has designed costumes for Salman for his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

    Confirming the story, costume designer Ashley Rebello says, “Alvira and I co-own a fashion label called Ahakzai. And for Bajrangi Bhaijaan we both teamed up to come up with some interesting costumes for Salman.”

    Fresh Colour Palette

    Ashley says that as per the brief given to him, Salman was to be showcased as a middle class man from Delhi. Thus Alvira and Ashley incorporated cotton kurtas, pants and chappals in Salman’s look. What’s unique about the kurtas is the fact that they look like khadi but are actually crafted out of cotton.

    “That apart, we came up with a fresh colour palette and this gave the kurtas very unique look,” says Ashley. The colours that were used to dye the kurtas include teal blue, brick maroon, mustard and shades of greys.
