    After the verdict on Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case the whole nation is divided into two parts where on one side his fans and close B-town friends are pouring in support for him the other side is happy and satisfied with the five year sentence.
    The turning point in the case was when Salman's police bodyguard Ravindra Patil who died in 2007 due to tuberculosis gave his statement in the case which turned out of be extremely important. According to leading daily Mid Day, “Patil was put under immense pressure to change his statement but he kept stuck to this statement: Salman Khan was driving the car and I asked him to drive slowly, but he did not pay heed to my requests.” But now the new development in the whole scenario is that bodyguard’s family has finally come out their closet and spoken about the episode. “Today, my son’s soul can truly rest in peace.” this is the statement given by Sushilabai Patil, the mother of Ravindra Patil as per the daily.
    As according to Ravindra’s testimony, who was the key witness, Salman was under the influence of alcohol while driving the car on the night of 28th September 2002.
