    Neetu Chandra, who’s acted in films like Garam Masala, Traffic Signal, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, among others is on cloud nine.
    Reason, her production venture has been applauded at the 63rd National Awards.
    Actress-entrepreneur, Neetu Chandra feels proud as her movie Mithila Makhaan (Maithili language) made by her production house, Champaran Talkies, has won Best Maithili Film in the language section.

    What’s interesting is the fact that the film, directed by Nitin Chandra (Neetu’s brother) is the first ever film in the history of Bihar and Jharkhand to get a National award.

    Talking about her victory, Neetu Chandra said, “It’s a moment of great pride. I have always believed in standing by my roots – 'More rooted you are, more global you would be!’ It’s a great positioning and laurels for the land of Rajendra Prasad, Bismillah Khan, Nalanda University and many more.”
