Recently, Daily Bhaskar.com caught Ruslaan shooting for his film at Mudh Island, Malad. He was shooting an important sequence of the film. “Acting is my passion; whether it is theatre, television, ads or films. Initially, when I was doing a daily soap, I found it difficult to cope with the long hours shooting. But later on, I enjoyed shooting for television. And guess what, now I am missing those hectic days. Shooting for films is fun too, but I don’t mind doing daily soaps again,” says Ruslaam Mumtaz.
If given an opportunity, the actor wants to do a romantic story on small screen. He says, “I like love stories. I love to create romance on the sreen. So anything which has love story, I would love to be a part of it.”
Almost a year back, Ruslaan got married to his long time girlfriend Nirali Mehta. But long hours of shooting schedule do not allow the couple to spend much time with each other. “Marriage life is great, but it’s just that I am doing four movies back to back and so we hardly time to spend with each other. Half of the time I am out of town; shooting in Chandigardh, Hariyana and Nepal. That’s why I sometimes feel that television is better than films as there is a perfect location of shooting and you can go home and spend your time with family. I miss her and sometimes it becomes tough where she comes in to meet me wherever I am located. She spends some time with me and then go back because even she is working. Overall, I miss her a lot”, concludes the actor.
