In an interview with Dailybhaskar.com, Gaurav Chopra said, “Yes, I am going to be here as a cultural ambassador trying to bond this new relationship form between this country (Georgia) and me. If this means that I am representing my country; I will take this as my responsibility. So, I was part of Nach Baliye in 2006 and then I was part of Zara Nachke Dikha in 2008. I was also part of few more dance shows. So, these were the dance reality shows that I was a part of; but nothing can be compared to this international show. In any case, I am not here to compete nor to win or look at other people as competitors. The last they know of our Hindi films is Raj Kapoor and Mera Juta Hai Japani and I want to tell them what the new thing is.”

I remember, a 65 year old lady was watching a TV and I happened to be on her TV. She looked twice at me and the TV and then suddenly she started crying. She said that it gives hope and strength to her when she watches me on TV. Similarly, a teenage girl had made few sketches for me. I was surprise to see such great fan following. In fact, I also taught few steps of 'Bhangras' to my fans here. I also taught the Hindi version of 'I Love You'. Lastly, I am extremely happy to be a part of such loving show.”
