Maharana Pratap fame Roshni Walia ties rakhi to her elder sister. She believes that, rakhis aren't just for brothers. Even sisters protect them in all the ways. In a conversation with Daily Bhaskar.com, Roshni Walia says, “A sister, mother, even friends can be just as protective as a brother. It's all in the mind and I completely support the concept of tying rakhi to not only brothers but also sisters. I do not have a brother; so what my sister takes care of me a lot. She protects me in all the ways. I am incomplete without her and its vice-versa too. Like every year, this year too I am tying rakhi on the wrist of my sister.”
Talking more about the gifts received on this occasion, Roshni says, “More than receiving the gifts; it’s the special bond which we share between us is very important. But yes, that doesn’t mean that I will not take any gift from her (laughs). I love my sister a lot and I am blessed to have a sibling like her.”
Here’s the glimpse at the rakhi tying celebration between Roshni Walia and her elder sister.
