A noted villain and comedian of the 70s and 80s, Sudhir breathed his last a few days ago (May 8) after failing to survive a serious lung ailment. His popular films have been Satte Pe Satta, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Deewar, Dharmatma and Baadshah. But surprisingly, nobody in the film industry is even talking about his sad demise. Bollywood actors who share their strong opinions, happiness, angst and grief at the drop of a hat, didn't even mention Sudhir in their regular social networking routine.
A few days post his demise, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned the late veteran actor in his Tweets, ''My prayers and may his soul rest in peace. Wonderful co actor Sudhirji...feel bad didn't get to have dinner at his house.''
But then, Sudhir's son too had no clue about his death. Here's what he said.
