    ra_580Bollywood is getting more and more aggressive, when it comes to the promotion of flicks. Celebs are doing maha publicity and are trying their best to create curiosity amongst the audience. Remember, SRK promoting Ra.One, where the Badshah of Bollywood didn’t leave a stone unturned to make sure that his movie reached almost every household?

    The latest one being Saif Ali Khan, whose hoarding in Mumbai caused a road accident. Saif is all set to lure his fans with his ambitious project Agent Vinod and one of its posters was pulled down from the streets of Mumbai, as it was so huge that it disturbed the road traffic.

    Vidya Balan, who shocked everyone with The Dirty Picture, took a step ahead to promote Kahaani, when she reached one of the the railway stations in Mumbai as well as making an appearance at Kolkata Metro station. Irrfan's (Khan) critically acclaimed Paan Singh Tomar too grabbed many eyeballs, when one of its posters in Mumbai was hung with 3.5 lac cash dangling to it.

    Who can forget those jalebi’s made by hot and sizzling Mallika Sherawat during a promotional event of Double Dhamaal? Jalebi Bai surely made everyone crave for more.

    During the promotions of Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan, the entire star cast including Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan were made guest lecturers at a renowned college in Mumbai.

    Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty and Bobby Deol too chose an unique way to promote their film Thank You by getting those couples married, who weren't getting any support from their families and friends.

    Aamir Khan, the perfectionist didn’t mind turning into a barber to promote his action movie Ghajini, which garnered him a lot of appreciation and worked wonders at the BO.

    Now, Housefull 2 is all set to release and the team is going for city tours to promote their film so it reaches the masses. Shreyas Talpade believes that a film like Housefull 2 needs a bigger platform of promotion which will help people come to the theatres. “A film like Housefull 2 needs more publicity so that people know about it and they come to watch the film. Promotions have become very important for any film and now, when people come to me and tell me that we will watch the film as its releasing on April 05, I feel good that people know about it,” explains the Iqbal actor.
