Total Siyapaa will bring Pakistan and India together! Not on the issue of Kashmir, but on the view that Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam’s movie is a complete waste of time and money.
What if you are asked to make a comedy film on India-Pakistan relationship, and advised to be very careful about the jokes? The outcome will be boring and stale. Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam’s Total Siyapaa has been the victim of the same circumstances.
Director E. Niwas made the biggest mistake by casting actor Ali Zafar in the film of such a genre. We are not saying this because Ali doesn’t act well, but because he comes with a baggage of not passing jokes on our neighbours.
In an attempt to impress both Indian and Pakistani audience, E. Niwas has left both the countries embarrassed.
Is it funny like the trailers?
We are sure that there must be many movie buffs around, who thought Total Siyappa is going to be a fun ride, thanks to the funny trailers. But you will not just be disappointed after watching the film, you might even end up not trusting your judgment from the next time.
How are Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam in the film?
Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam’s acting is neither impressive nor bad. After acting in a few Bollywood films, nobody expects a good acting performance from Ali. He is like a teddy that girls buy to decorate their rooms. Nobody expects that soft toy to entertain or console you. He has, but, looked cute in the film. It might surprise many but Yami Gautam waited for 2 years after her blockbuster debut in Vicky Donor for this script. Any random actor could have played this role.
Is it a low budget film?
Ali Zafar, Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher and Yami Gautam have shot the entire film in just one dress. There are just about 4 location where the film was shot, and Ali Zafar is the actor, singer, composer and lyricist of the film. The budget of this film is comparatively very low as compared to other two big films releasing this week.
Big Question: Should I watch Total Siyapaa?
With two big movies releasing this week with Total Siyapaa, we doubt if it’ll be around to miss for long. So if you are still adamant on watching it, book your tickets as soon as possible.
