Meet Reuben Paul, the 8-year old speaking on cyber security at Ground Zero Summit
At the Ground Zero Summit 2014 starting today in India, a child of 8-years of age will speak about cyber security. Reuben Paul, a young CEO, cyber security expert and a hacker will speak and discuss about importance of teaching InfoSec to kids.
Paul is expected to speak on matters related to future of the world which depends on what technology related decisions we are or would make. Paul at the Summit will highlight and demonstrate the need for developing the current generation with Cybersecurity skills which are both necessary for the future, he believes.
Paul is the Founder, CEO, Lead Designer and Developer at Prudent Games where he develops app. The apps developed by the compnay are ‘Cracker Proof’ which is a way to learn building strong passwords; ‘Crack Me If You Can’ as a way to learn about bruteforce attacks; and ‘Shuriken Math’ an attempt at solving difficult mathematics problems.
Paul’s father Mano Paul who is the partner in the company, is born and brought up in Odisha. He is a programmer by profession and moved to the US in year 2000.
Paul was crowned as America’s most beautiful baby when he was only 2 years old.
He is also a Kung Fu expert and has the honor of earning the Shaolin Kung Fu Black Belt at the age of 7 years. He the youngest in America with this award.
According to an interview with Paul published in TripWire in October this year, “more and more kids these days are using tech to pick on each other, which can lead to emotional trauma and suicidal thoughts.” This increases the need of education on cyber bullying in schools and in children believes Paul.
He is scheduled to deliver the closing keynote at the Houston Security Conference this year.
