Micromax to launch Cyanogen Yu phones in India, here is your guide to the new product

Micromax going to launch new 'customer oriented' Yu phones this year

    Micromax was rumoured to be working on a new Smartphone that would run CyanogenMod (twisted Android) operating system. It is now confirmed that Micromax has inked a partnership with Cyanogen to bring new Yu phones in India this year.
    In October DroidGoblin reported that Micromax would launch Canvas 5 on CynagenMod at a premium price point under INR 22,000. (Considering the fact that Micromax is known for launching pocket-friendly phones, this would be a premium handset). Now according to a report in the Indian Express the Micromax is planning to launch a new online brand. The new brand called Yu is owned by Yu Televentures which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Micromax Informatics and will only be sold online.
