OMG: Technology used in BMW-RANGE ROVER comes fitted with this bicycle at IRRESISTIBLE price

    Bhopal: This bicycle model developed by engineering students of Bhopal has bagged the first prize at 'Sirjan'- Science and Technology competition organised by Science and Technology Parishad, Madhya Pradesh.

    When you paddle it, the batteries of this electric bicycle start charging. Batteries can also be charged from any electric point. When fully charged—which takes nearly 3 hours—it can go 70-75 Km at stretch. This bicycle is very economical--costs only 14 paisa for 1 km.

    Students have spent only Rs. 10,000 on this bicycle. Still they have managed to provide some very important features of luxury cars like BMW-RANGE ROVER.

    Rear view camera that comes fitted with Range Rover has been installed in the bicycle--this would help smooth maneuvering of the bicycle.

    Shockwave technology, used by Audi, BMW and other luxury cars, has been an important safety feature of the bicycle. This technology helps reduce the impact of the shock to the driver during accidents. The materials used in making the bicycle will greatly absorb the impact of the shock, protecting the rider on the bicycle.

    Although the students are not in a position to talk about the commercial production of such bikes in future, but the feat they have achieved by spending just Rs 10,000 has made this model a true value for price.
