    Burhanpur (Indore): This cock is being revered by the villagers of Ptanvadhi in Cinchala here. People come here to pay their homage at Kedhapti Mata Temple.
    Those who come here make sure to seek blessings of this male hen that has been living here for the last six years.
    No one can harm this cock. Villagers ensure this bird gets food and water every day. Villagers believe that the cock has divine powers and make their wishes come true.
    Six years ago, a man left a chick at the temple after Mata fulfilled his wishes. Now, after six years, this cock has become a symbol of hope and positive energy.
    According to villagers, a few years ago, many chickens died because of the flu, but nothing happened to this chicken.
    Every evening, this cock would fly up and stay perched on the branches of a 15-feet high tree.
    Early in the morning, around 6 am, the cock would descend from the tree. Then villagers will come to seek the blessing of this divine bird.
    This has been continuing for nearly six years now.
