New Delhi: Israel has stepped on the pressure pedal to deter Hamas from firing rocket in its territory. Israel has given Hamas 36 hours to stop firing rockets or else it would be forced to step up its offensive in Gaza strip.
In a news report in RT.com, Israeli Finance Minister said that Israel is at a threshold to either seek a 'complete military solution' to the problem or move towards peace.
Israel is asking Gaza to stop firing rocket in its territory for a period of several years. The condition is said to be part of the six point peace proposal put forward by Israel in Cairo.
The other point of the proposal is that Israel would be granted access to hunt down attackers in case of an attacker or if it obtains information on an imminent attack.
On the contrary, Hamas has asked an immediate cessation of IDF killings, lifting of Gaza blockade and refusal to accept the Israeli "security belt" in Gaza.
Israel called up more than 75,000 army reservists as it tacked army, tanks and soldiers on the Gaza border.
